Frequently Asked Questions

Blackjack Disposal can usually deliver a Roll Off dumpster to our customers the next day. Sometimes we can deliver a Roll Off dumpster the same day, but it is best to plan for next day delivery. There is a $50 charge in cases where we provide same-day delivery. If you need same-day delivery, contact us to make arrangements.

Some materials are prohibited at landfills: asbestos, treated wood (telephone poles and railroad ties), tires, oil, paint, chemicals, propane tanks, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, and other materials. If you are unsure about whether or not an item can go into the landfill, please contact Blackjack Disposal.

For residential projects, we can offer removal and proper disposal of common household chemicals. Items such as paint, insecticides, weed killers, fertilizers, used motor oil, and other common household chemicals CAN NOT be placed in the Roll Off dumpster, but we can offer separate services to remove those items. We charge $75 for up to 20 gallons (or equivalent) of material. The HHW items must be packaged separately, NOT in the Roll Off dumpster.

Items such as appliances, electronics, tires, asbestos, commercial chemicals, and liquids are prohibited.  Please consult your local or county environmental authorities for disposal options.

Roll Off dumpsters cannot be loaded over the height of the sidewalls. Overloading the dumpster will prevent us from securing our tarp over the top of the Roll Off dumpster. An overloaded Roll Off dumpster will be required to be offloaded and there will be a $100 demurrage charge.

Dirt, Brick, Shingles, and Tile are very heavy materials. A Roll Off dumpster loaded with these materials often makes our truck overweight, which can make it dangerous to haul. If you need to dispose of these items, contact us to develop a plan and pricing for a successful haul.
